State of the Forum: 2023

This will of course never happen because it requires acknowledgment of IQ's existence, predictive impact on life outcomes, racial disparity, etc which is the opposite direction of the current political conversation

Also I suggest it as a solution to the problem as stated, without any commentary on whether this would actually be a good thing for the world. Is this a future I want to live in? Actually maybe, maybe it would be a good thing for people to be more intelligent. But I haven't really thought about it

And actually it wouldn't necessarily decrease the gap - maybe just raise all means

So instead what you need is gov't-funded eugenics research with subsidies exclusively for black people (resulting in an untermensch class of purely white people who live in the mountains of West Virginia or whatever) - curiously, this is actually exactly the situation that is happening right now in the US, except with education instead of eugenics

Unfortunately, this is a classic trap of correlation v causation - the affirmative action planners mixed cause and effect in the IQ/educational attainment matrix and it most likely not have the desired effect (instead resulting in the destabilization of a bunch of US institutions & total deconstruction of the legacy of higher education, as we are seeing happening now)

the "solution to the problem" is what it's always been: separate societies and cultures. libtards like insom will complain about "they burned black wall street hurr" but the existence of black wall street is completely predicated upon segregation and in-group preference.

this is the direction things have been moving, but it's been implemented in a manner that is fake and gay rather than based and redpilled.

how'd you guys do in that dota game with coach jcrispy?

moreover the "solution to the problem" is sort of like finding the solution to "being factory farmed" from the cow's perspective: there is no solution, you're a cow bred to be slaughtered.

I don't agree at all. It's likely scientific advancement will allow real positive change in this space such that in 50, 100 years things could be different. Whereas with the cow in the slaughterhouse, things will never be different. You are just a cow

the idea that "science" will stop cultural dysfunction, especially those arising out of fundamental protestant ideals, is cope. the "science" that stopped the practice of mayan human sacrifice was wiping out of all them and raping the rest of them.

you're going to be stuck worshipping dumb minorities and women forever (until a 60s type event occurs again, but in all likelihood, America will just get gayer).

Cultural values do change. Just because in recent years these things have accelerated in the wrong direction doesn't mean they always will

I agree, cultural values do change: gay marriage is now fundamentally conservative.

In fact there is a pretty clear generational effect. Whatever one generation thinks is cool the next inevitably thinks is stupid and wrong. So with any luck the next generation or the one after that will be completely against this stuff

The Biden administration, convinced that Vladimir Putin has failed in his attempt to erase Ukraine, has begun planning for an eventual postwar military balance that will help Kyiv deter any repetition of Russia’s brutal invasion. Secretary of State Antony Blinken outlined his strategy for the Ukrainian endgame and postwar deterrence during an interview on Monday at the State Department.

Russia’s colossal failure to achieve its military goals, Blinken believes, should now spur the United States and its allies to begin thinking about the shape of postwar Ukraine — and how to create a just and durable peace that upholds Ukraine’s territorial integrity and allows it to deter and, if necessary, defend against any future aggression. In other words, Russia should not be able to rest, regroup and reattack.

Crimea is a particular point of discussion. There is a widespread view in Washington and Kyiv that regaining Crimea by military force may be impossible.

Ukraine is FUCKED.
