For the record: You were lied to.
When he said "I got this tattoo last week" - he actually meant "a day ago".
He asked me about getting the tattoo on October 4th, and then posted the image on October 8th (presumably the day after he got it).
The question is; why lie about something so insignificant? What he does he gain from deceiving you into thinking he got it a week ago and told nobody except you?
