it takes away the most challenging piece of playing this game.
Not reading your role PM before posting, it's like taking steroids. You still have to work out, but it's much easier to gain muscle mass.
I would read my role PM but sometimes ignore who my partners are, at least then I get a day 1 worth of scum hunting that is pure.

Mafia is bored from day 1 cause game is solved. That's probably the most difficult part of the game for me to look genuine trying to solve the game. By day 3-4 if you are good scum you are a puppet master by then and have most of the people town read you, but not too much cause you need to stay alive somehow.
Iirc it worked for me but I didn't feel comfortable not checking partners by EOD Incase Im pushing too hard on one
Town is lost day 1. Like blind puppies trying to figure out who is 1 or 2 people they can slightly trust and the rest of the town is suspicious to them.
Mafia has game figured out, that's why they tend to talk about mechanics of the game.

This game I fosed Picco cause he townread me for bullshit reason. "oh faz you really got emotional" when I really didn't. Even then town would be more suspicious. Scum give out townreads a lot easier than most towns would.
All that tracks it just seems kind of lame if say everyone were to do it
This is just too much information for town to do early day 2, especially when he was absolute null day 1.
I probably town read people who rip into me pretty hard like John did, over people townreading me all together.
I knew I wanted to be on the opposite side of nma when it came to reading you but yea it's normally scummy
I'm fucking terrible as scum though so I would usually recommend listening to the opposite of my scum play

It's just called basic reasoning, I understand that you expect town to all be dumber than you and that you're always the superhero of the game, but sometimes people actually say things other than "hows the weather".
I am talking about his progression in the game. If he was mechanically trying to solve the game day 1 and day 2 it would be different story.
I scum read his day 2 opening. Which triggered me to go back and reread his day 1. His day 1 was null filler. Then he opened day 2 with "i am here to help down with game mechanics".
Despite what you might think or believe. In my personal experience that's a scum tell.
Was that OMG he is scum 100% tell? No. But it definitely made me think he is the most likely mafia read for me.
He was trying to mechanically solve (he was me) but that's beside the point.
The point I was trying to make is that you guys shouldn't read too much into someone posting/discussing mechanical information. If someone says that there's 3 mafia you should never think to yourself "Oh yeah how does he know that"? or that mafia get a random name revealed, etc etc...
Basically, "TMI reads" should be exclusive to info that is not publicly available. I've been scumread as town a lot on this site because of this.
