im happy for you if you've gotten it under control but i went through the exact same experience with my mom boozing and repeatedly lying about it, showing up to family functions drunk, making me drive her home etc. i wish i could trust you at face value but lying is a hard mark to shake on someone who has been burned by it before

but just mocking me is annoying. it wasn't easy to overcome it and it feels quite bad to be mocked.
