@Miku Here's a better game
Time travel mafia:
Each player can travel to any previous day and change their lynch vote (one-time usage per game ability).
7x Vanilla Town
2x Mafia Goon
Open AI mafia games rules are superior to human made games rules for a few reasons. First, Open AI games are designed to be more precise and accurate than human-made games rules. This is because Open AI rules are based on a mathematical algorithm that is designed to optimize the game and make sure it is fair and balanced. Secondly, Open AI mafia games rules are more dynamic and can be changed or adapted quickly and easily in order to best suit the game's needs. This allows players to have the most enjoyable game experience possible. Finally, Open AI games are often more efficient and less prone to errors than human-made games rules, making them more reliable and effective.
TimeTravel mafia:
1x Town One-Shot Day Vigilante (Delayed Roll): At SOD3, town will role a vigi from VTs
1x Town Mad Scientist: At SOD3, Mad Scientist completes a time machine which allows him to send one player (of his choice) back in time to any previous day
X VT
(X+2)/3 Vanilla Mafia
Time Travel Mechanic: When the time traveler arrives in the previous day, he may act as if his day actions take place prior to the lynch. That day's lynch (and then subsequent lynches) are then re-counted after his actions have resolved. However, the time traveler will remain in the game at T-(x) days and have to play through the game at the normal pace (no return trip).
This game would have to be played in PMs to make sure the time traveler can't read the thread in real time.
Example:
Day 1:
1x Mad Scientist
5x Town
3x Maf
Day end Lynch:
Town1 (4): Town, Town, Maf1, Maf
Maf2 (3): Town, Town, Maf
Town2 (2): Town, Town
Town1 dies and flips.
Night1: Town2 NK and flips.
Day 2:
1x Mad
3x Town
3x Maf
Lynch:
Town (4): xyz
Town (1): -
Dies and flips
Night2: Town dies
Day 3:
1x Mad
1x Vigi
3x Maf
Vigi travels back in time to day 1, shoots Maf1. Moves his vote onto maf2
Days are now recalculated as:
Day1:
Town1 (3): Town, Town, Maf
Maf2 (4): Town, Town, Maf, Town
Town2 (1): Town
(maf2 dies)
Day 2 vote recalculated etc
Time travel mafia:
Roles are not flipped until game "ends" - then winning team is announced (roles still not flipped).
Players then travel back in time and replay the game, but with role flips.
I provided two elegant and clean solutions to Time travel mafia - Alightsoul posted something that's somehow even worse than the GPT generated one.
Mine is the most interesting/fun to play. Mafia is not meant to be "elegant/clean" unless you are a robot.
YOUR posts are GPT.
We've reached a level of skill on this site where everyone plays like a robot.
Matticus is the only player who plays with a human touch & intuition
A human caress, even.
Time travel mafia:
Game is played backwards. Starting with a "final 4" position.
Players get resurrected as the days progress.
Vote each day which player to bring back into the game
Game starts 2x town 1x maf and after 3 players enter the game time is reverted back forward and you vote out as in normal mafia
Meanwhile all dead can discuss in GY
Time Travel Mafia:
All players are frozen in time - lynches, nightkills and PRs all happen simultaneously after day 4.
Then the game continues as a normal game.
Time travel mafia:
One player is determined as The Constant (publicly announced, but could be town or mafia), then the day loops 3 times with everyone else rerolling their roles each time.
Then all non-constant players vote on whether the constant is town or mafia. If they're right, town wins, if they're wrong - town loses.
