a couple things:
if you're gonna take action against sexism you can't just do it when it fits your agenda, and you can't be sexist on top of it either lmao
ewizs ban being seen as controversial by the userbase probably suggests that it isn't as black and white as you think it is so I'm not sure why you keep suggesting that it is so simple. For one, this whole situation has highlighted one massive problem -- players aren't given proper notice or warning for breaking rules and hosts should be informed if some punishment is going to impact their game. you can't just act without giving notice to anyone and be surprised when it blows up in your face
lastly directly impacting mafia games is as problematic as LBJ suggests. ewiz was a massive focal point of last game and his removal or replacement ruined the game. if you're ruining mafia games you're practically as bad as the goys or even worse in that regard because at least they didn't abuse power to ruin games. this is just a guess but mafias probably the most enjoyable aspect of the forum to users and should be considered a high priority in regards to how we approach things

you being removed from the lounge didn't have an effect on your game. it briefly bugged out and didn't let you post for like 20minutes then it was fixed.

A mod unilaterally abusing his powers to throw the legitimacy of the game into question ruined the game
i haven't seen anyone say ewiz should be unbanned except you. on top of that when users are disruptive it isn't up to the community to say they enjoy him. it's up the administration to take note and say he is unwanted due to his behavior
ewiz was given proper warning and he chose to continue his behavior. ewiz was also warned that he was on a short leash and that griefing would result in a permanent ban.
people are zeused in games all the time. he could've looked for a sub or anything else. he chose to stop the game until friday which is what killed momentum.

if Roragok is reading this thread he'll see dan is not only defending the actions of someone who griefed the website for a whole day but also preaching that he was justified in doing so. Dan is advocating that ewiz be unbanned when the course of action was quite simple.
