I don't think I have any problems with your flag handling and this doesn't apply to the post you're addressing but I would probably let someone else handle flags on posts you were mentioned in so people don't think you're trying to abuse your position (more than they think you are already, anyways)
it WAS you who overreacted to being called sexist (being sexist) and closed my thread on account of various other users being... ??? what, upset? upset by what, can we please discuss what the users were upset by, and what the thread creator was upset by, and what was done to address these things specifically?

i do tend to do that. unless it's very outrageous.
it's the exact reason lbj/ewiz/nyte weren't banned the nyte for spamming for several hours. because it was done to me.
the forum was like split into thirds with plenty of people upset and angry on both sides. the thread needed a day to chill out and be returned to once people have settled down.
