That doesn't mean that white men won him the election because gaining with white men doesn't mean they didn't vote for Trump more. Trump still won by 18 points with white men and 12 points with white women.
Similarly, Trump gaining with minorities doesn't mean they didn't vote for Biden more: Biden won with black women by 83 points, black men by 62 points, latina women by 42 points, and latino men by 25 points.
