Russiagate was all horseshit. But tampering with ballots through EVMs has provably happened before. Notably in 2000 in Florida
The studies by multiple universities about the awful security for EVMs is pretty fucking convincing
i think the point ewiz is trying to make is not that this election has crazy rigged ballot counting machines, but that there's a lot of flaws and vulnerabilities present in the machines we use which warrants a lot more scrutiny
Notably, many independent security audit has found them to be horrendous and it lets claims about election tampering fester. And it has been done before, multiple counties in Florida in 2000 reported no votes, literally zero, for Gore despite there being thousands of Gore ballots in the sealed compartment of the EVMs, which meant that the counting method had been tampered with. It's why they had to request a manual recount and why SCOTUS shut that shit down

I can agree that this is a potential problem that should be defended against, but I doubt that it has happened in this particular instance, and there doesn't seem to be evidence of this.
If there was evidence that is has happened, however, I would agree that it would be a problem.
It bears investigation at least due to the massive divergence from the polling in places like Texas and Florida (which I'm sure Trump won anyways). And if we don't investigate now, we have to wait until the next election
