if there is a link between being highly educated and not being something, and a link between being poor and uneducated and being that thing, maybe that thing is kinda inherently stupid ? like you are literally more likely to be religious the poorer you are and the less educated you are, they have done studies on this. this is not some random shit i am saying i am saying this because of things i have read stating this.

Americans adults with higher levels of education do report lower levels of religious commitment by most measures, according to Pew’s analysis.
Fewer than half of college graduates, or 46 percent, say religion is “very important” in their lives, compared with 53 percent of those who have completed some college and 58 percent of those with no more than a high school education, according to Pew.
