i don't like meta reads but alas here we are
before anyone else meta clears im going to state that Osiris sent out the pms late for neighbor chats, after iaafr said he and i are neighbors and im talking in our chat.
he takes back his statement pretty close to when I received my neighbor chat(in which i was told we can only speak at night -- wasn't stated before this point)
btw i dont think you use "meta read" in the way most people (at mu, admittedly) do
wanted to mention this and was just reminded
the more common definition of "meta read" is a read that depends on knowing the disparities between somebody's town play and scum play and noticing that theyve done something they only do as town or only do as scum
reads based on like interaction with mechanics or role pm or setup spec dont fall under that definition
so if he were mafia he wouldn't have randomly changed his mind randomly. he would've likely received the pm around the same time I did, and likely Osiris wouldn't have informed mafia that our chats are at night(but he could've)
so while not 100% clear, to me iaafr is pretty meta cleared.
so yeah reader note, @orangeandblack5, when kyle says meta cleared and meta read, he doesnt mean how we use it, he means he's making a kind of angly read based on how i presented learning of host info

Osiris could've told scum that we only have day chat(kinda random to tell scum) at the same time he told us
but i think more than likely he just now got around to making the neighbor chats and obviously had to include that its night talk only
this is a lot of talking trying to clear someone
i have a really big urge to roleplay Nyte to explain this to her.

and knowing scumchat is daychat didnt preclude not knowing neighbor chat was night chat only
like i couldve made that post from scum perspective
my perspective now is kinda hard to fake as scum tho so lol

i didn't know scum were neighbors. but since they were allowed to talk during the day i think it's likely Osiris made that chat at the start of the game. He didn't need to make town neighbor chat during the day since we can't talk during the day
the part where im arguing "no dont clear me for this i couldve done the exact same thing as scum"
is possible but kinda hard to come up with on the spot when being actually miscleared as scum (as opposed to being cleared for a uqestionable reason correctly as town)
