I feel like the bar for effort on NADota/NAMafia has gone way up since the times when I was first on the site. If I don't put 2-3x the effort I normally would into these games, I get lynched.
My original maf community considered itself Very Serious Players, and yet the bar for activity is somehow higher here than there now.

There was a time on NADota when the norm was <300 posts for an entire game.
Most phases here have more posts than that nowadays.
That must've been a long time ago because as long as I've played there's been at least 300 posts in a day, some games have 1k+ posts a day

I was pretty sure klaze was scum when he did a "gamesolve" move that was negative expected value (stealing protectives from PRs). It was a pretty risky move and only failed because of the instant CC.
