i ran into problems with reserved names 
doesn't matter host commands filter for host. which is as of now is known to be working.

You can write to the db or name columns with reserved words without them actually stopping you or sending an error and then when you try to read it later it will flag the request and send it back saying the word isn't an allowable column name
just have to like use temp variables or watever they want to call them with named values like
query.ExpressionAttributeNames = {
"#status": "status",
}
