There's this crazy situation going on where the only people who are actually smart and likable at the company is the 3rd world contractors because they are the people doing all the actual work and they're like normal people with a wife and young kids and all that
Then on the US side you just get a horde of PMs pretending to do work (including me) and saying stuff like "Yeah I'm going to the AWS Conference"
So I'm real happy these guys get to go because they might get something actually useful out of it
