This place has the same kind of menu outline as a chinese place its just like 40 different combos
Do they have the pictures on the big menu behind the counter with the prices too?
No words just photos big ass photos of entire plates of food
Not sure i havent been there in person in years but i dont think so. There are taco trucks that do here though but i dont like any of them
Tell me which places you've tried YNS and I'll give you reviews of other places
Did you ever try the noodle place I told you you could walk to
There's a yuppie taco place in Seaport, same area, also walkable. Bar taco. This is one of the better places
it's not mexican it's american "we're gonna charge you 6 dollars for tacos" but they're actually good in that context & the churros are good, they have plantains, guac, etc
The other thing I can recommend is if you feel like taking the red I have tried all mole in the Boston area and Tenoch has the only one that is similar to the one I liked in Mexico
Still a little sweet but mole around here often just tastes burnt and bitter/smoky or just like sugar
I know there are a lot of different moles but I can confidently tell you all of them are bad excpet this one and another one I've had in Braintree. For that one you could take the commuter rail from south station like an hour and get food that probably is still worse than what you have in California
I eat asada tacos and burritos
With the green sauce and the red sauce
And I buy it from dudes who cook the shit on the sidewalk out here they just set up a tent on a sidewalk on a busy street and I buy it
Boston I dunno the names I ordered some shit a couple times from a few different places trying to find something good I didn’t and I gave up and I just order McDonald’s now
Boston has terrible food sorry
Absolutely horrible food scene, restaurants are ass
I can also offer you two other things
In the area of Allston they are calling Koreatown there's a "mexican" place with the menu photos above the counter like you described. I like them, they speak mostly Spanish, but my mexican friend said it didnt taste mexican (it doesnt taste bad though, just like normal food)
East boston (by the airport) is where they're hiding all the illegal immigrants and there is probably actual mexican food over there. Grandmas selling shit out of the window of their house and all that
And Felipes in harvard square is my standard for a burrito. It won't taste fully "mexican" but try it anyway. This place is the boston benchmark
Boston is well known as one of the worst food cities lol
Not good
Dont hate on the meal deal pussy
There's decent food here you just have to know where to find it
Tell me what sort of food you want, I got you. I eat in way too many restaurants
I went to parla XXI before I left for LA about a month ago and it was actually what I would consider good
In Somerville assembly row or some shit
The new Thai spot is laughing monk in Allston (make sure you get the right one, there are two. This one is on Brighton ave I believe)
Order: Massaman curry, pad see ewe
Tier 2: Khao soi, drunken noodle
If you take the gf get her a thai iced tea
Don't order: Pad thai. Don't be a basic bitch
When we first moved to Boston we got recommended to go to this Italian place in the north end it was like down in a basement place was packed and the food was like average Italian food nothing special. I’ve had better Italian food in LA and allegedly that’s supposed to be the Italian part of Boston
