KBBQ - I like Gyu Kaku. Not cheap. there are several others that a lot of people go to. Just remembered mine might actually be JBBQ but same difference
Ramen - Again there are a shit ton of popular ones, I am not a good judge of quality for these but the ones at Porter square are extremely popular and affordable (two different places called Yume Wa Whatever, Yume Go Fuck Yourself). There's a place with a few locations called Santouka which is famous and highly-rated which I didn't like much. My favorite I've had is Bosso.
Hot pot - not my type of food but Chinatown is loaded with them. Chinatown you may find more Vietnamese than Chinese
The DoD forces something called "model based systems engineering" which is basically making UML for every single thing you do and I asked something about "trust" or "verification" and I was basically told that the current status quo is "it's shit already and there's already no way to verify it"

All the places I mentioned are like 10-15 dollars for your whole meal
