My view of musk is that despite having tons of money (allegedly but not really I suppose, he has some bizarre debt schemes which may lead to him actually being fairly poor) and many wives he is extremely desperate for praise and social approval
He's also not very smart, impulsive, and likes to consume drugs
This leads him to say and do dumb things (post dumb stuff on twitter) - mostly for attention. The best thing you can do is just not give it to him.
But since we are: This is him poorly parroting some concept that has become mainstream in founder circles (probably Thiel originated) that school is dumb and unnecessary and that smart people will succeed without it. See: Thiel Fellowship
If I interpret what he's saying extremely favorably (entirely pointless, since it's twitter and there's virtually nothing being said) I can agree with a perspective that people sometimes have this attitude that they just need a hand up, they just need somebody to help them and tell them what to do. This attitude is completely wrong and for some reason makes me feel disgusted toward the person. People who "do stuff" tend to just do it and don't wait around for someone to give them a hand. People would be better off trained to act of their own accord, to be self-driven, and then actually do something, than to spend years having someone else manage their life and desires and then leave soviet 12 hour training camp with a bunch of facts in their head and no agency or ability to create agency for themselves. This is kind of what I was saying before.
That's the favorable interpretation. Musk is not actually saying any of that. What he is actually saying is exactly the words written there and there's no point interpreting or reading into them. The only thing you should do is ignore them and stop giving him attention.

Elon's the more successful version btw - parlay one fake entrepreneur scam into another and stack them all on top of each other for 20 years until you actually start making functional companies
