His comment on how "A culture that celebrates prom queens and jocks over math olympiads and steve urkel will never produce exceptionalism" is genuinely something a genuine moron would think.
He failed to realize that it is exactly by celebrating prom queens and jocks that these exceptional people are created.
And it's no surprise that countries with such culture are generally considered third world trash. It simply doesn't work.

I won't care. It's really indisputable that you can't have the evidence to make a cogent argument that what you're witnessing isn't spurious correlation.
