The neocons and maybe even RNC as a whole were defeated by the advent of the Trump era.
Trump is not really even a "Republican." He's something else. A new breed. And among the things he left behind were the relics of the GWB era that this country really needed to cast off.
The Dems have been careening for the same rock wall - the same reckoning. But rather than wrestle with it when HRC lost, they pivoted to Russia, Russia, and essentially the neolib mantle became the new resting place of the whole old guard, the neocon ideology, the too-traditional Republicans. All the unhealthy things that were cast off on the R side by Trump's win were instead taken on by the Ds.
That's how you end up with a platform of Kamala, Cheney, Biden, etc.

You’re actually wrong with this one, nuclear war doctrine is to destroy the enemies industries and their ability to wage a conventional war, that explicitly means that you would need to inflict massive civilian casualties in order to prevent the ability to raise an army. This means you are purposefully targeting population centers and trying to kill as many people as possible
So yes they would drop a nuke on the blacks because the blacks can be given guns and told to go shoot Russians afterwards if they don’t kill then all
And going back to the question of “how many nukes would LA get hit with” if you do something like nuke maps and load in a 300KT bomb in DTLA the fireball itself is only about half a kilometer in radius, the “moderate blast damage” barely makes it to koreatown and then you have to think large buildings, hills, etc will absorb some of that shockwave and it won’t be a complete circle of total destruction. I’m almost positive in the event of total nuclear war with the ~5600 nukes both sides have they have plans in place to hit major population centers at least 20 times
This shit isn’t die in a flash and get incinerated unless you’re like right under the explosion, it’s getting blown away by the blast, if you go into a basement and you’re like 3 miles away from a 300 KT nuke I think you have pretty good odds of surviving as long as your basement is made of brick/cinder block and not wood
