Jones is not LARPing as Learning (TM) it's just that his learning is completely divorced from reality (of the employable world)
Telling him he's not going to get a job as a quant is completely foreign to him - it's like telling a salmon trying to swim up a mountain stream that it's never going to be able to make a fire when it gets to the top.
At this point in my life I'm more interest in management type roles.

Does the problem stating that the returns are between 0 and infinity imply that they assume a return stream of only positive numbers?
