âBe poor and live in constant struggle even when you donât need to be or youâre softâ - Osiris
acting real jealous plasma gonna be gripping the wood grain tipping on four fours real soon
'not needing constant maintenance and being reliable = poor" ghetto gucci yns and plasma
My Mercedesâ hasnât needed any maintenance beyond normal once a year service visits and I popped a tire once
did you buy it?
when youâre perpetually stuck with the budget of a 22 year old yeah Toyota and Honda makes the most sense because your guidelines for car purchasing are under 10k (or you probably go off âcan I afford this monthly car paymentâ) and under 200k miles
naw my lease is up in January and Iâm probably gonna buy a Toyota off Craigslist for cash cuz I only need a car for like a year while Iâm out here in Boston then when I go back to LA or wherever Iâll finance a Mercedesâ probably
Was looking at financing an E class but idk yet
you have bragged about buying designer brand clothes
if you're leasing do whatever you want. if you're buying have fun watching money evaporate
I mean cars are never sound financial decisions even the most responsible form of purchasing a car, buying a couple year old pre owned Toyota still normally results in a negative financially when you include maintenance, gas, and depreciation. If you have the extra money and enjoy cars then whatâs the issue spending your money on a nice car? Not everything in life needs to be looked at as the most optimal way of doing things
Thereâs an argument to be made for buying a pre owned super car like a McLaren, driving it for a year and selling it for the same price you bought it for if youâre going purely off of depreciation
I would not argue that itâs not â â â â â â â â to do that though because it just seems â â â â â â â â however I have had people pitch me on doing that before
if you actually enjoy your car then sure go ham
I think most people enjoy plenty of aspects related to purchasing new cars even if it is a bad financial decision on paper, hence why new cars are still being sold. Driving off the lot in your new car feels good, people are impressed by it, itâs fun to drive nicer luxury vehicles most of the time and probably a bunch of other reasons. I get why people do it
I mean I will say I leased this AMG and if I could go back I wouldnât do it knowing what I know now because at the end of the day it is just a car, but I was 24 years old and wanted a cool car so whatever
cadi vs jetta. No comparison on how plush the seats are in teh cadi
your money
do you have excellent credit and a substantial down payment for financing
