sounds horribly unhealthy
I ate out 3 times today in the sense that I did not cook any of my own food (it all came from some external source) and my food was much healthier than that
It is certainly not an optimal diet but I wouldnât say itâs anywhere near âhorribly unhealthyâ
I would say itâs rare for the average American to eat out 0/3 times a day for any extended period (more than half a week or a week?) but itâs more likely in first and second generation homes?
breakfast: no protein, unnecessary carbs, probably added sugar via jam or something which youâve omitted
lunch: ye sounds fine.
dinner: how can you even admit to that and not feel ashamed
Iâve definitely had times in my life when I ate frozen foods but always tried to trend towards cooking my own stuff and making healthy choices as it tends to be cheaper, makes you a more interesting person, and can actually be kind of fun and relaxing if youâre doing it right
unfortunatley stuff like this is mostly dependent on general living situation (eg: people who live in a city will probably be eating out/getting takeout a lot) and of course upbringing
Itâs hard to make any sweeping generalization as even individual people can vary wildly. Just habits and whatâs available really
I think Iâd probably run my slow cooker every day if I could but thereâs also an inspiration barrier you start hitting there
I havenât eaten out in over a year
When I am lazy or overworked, I get lunch to go, and order enough for lunch and dinner and eat on it all day. If I really have a craving, I get a family meal just for myself and eat it for two days.
It all comes down to available time vs. disposable income. If I can buy a big healthy meal for less money than I would make working overtime, I just work late and buy something to go.
Not the best life choice, but my job can be a pain and I donât want to spend time cooking.
My parents cook themselves 3 meals a day every day since I was about 7, so over 11 years now. I donât know how they do it tbh, once Iâm an actual adult I guess Iâll figure it out.
do they just come home to make lunch or do they work from home. either way i find that really weird lol
My mom doesnât work, my dad makes his lunch the night before and brings it to work.
Thats so brady bunch. reminds me of one of my childhood neighbors
maybe thatâll be me one day :`)
Pizza was mediocre but i already kinda knew that from that pizzaplace, but yea we have really good italian pizza here. And we have pizza hut if that counts as american pizza
i donât get how moms arenât depressed living at home/working fake jobs from home
Thats an america thing im sure
They are but they delude themselves and fill their lives with dumb garbage
