settling a discussion with my spouse. apparently people in eastern ontario call all stuffed animals "teddies" regardless of whether they are bears or not.

i mean originally teddies were underwear, like a one piece or unibody, which evolved to reference lingerie as an ensemble, i think.

a plushy is actually just a beanie baby, and that (above) is simply a stuffed rabbit. i used to have two 2' tall stuffed unicorns, so that's my story.
Nyte and I are aligned on this
The last unicorn went hard in that household.
There's still a princess diana commemorative beanie baby in my parents house.
I never really had any stuffed animals, but my great granddad was a taxidermist.
