Not sure if it applies that much. Most people that attempted suicide did so before “transforming”, discrimination against transgender’s had nothing to do with the majority of suicide cases.

I’m sure it doesn’t apply to everybody, but it seems like many of the transgender people are severely depressed/mentally ill who’s looking for a last resort to to turn their life around.
