well then you should probably poll it here instead of him/me spending time adding something they wouldnt like. if its your idea you can probably think of the best way of doing its implementation and explain why its not a stupid thing to sit down and add

you need approval to make a thread in experimental and that way we can do special things like make someone a personal thread each or something cute
but the music subforum can have threads and posts, its just an example EXPERIMENTAL forum. can throw some ideas at the wall and see what sticks here and what people like
theres no obligation to make music threads there but mods can help you move a music thread there if you want it
took like a minute to set this up and figured some people might like this or other creative applications there. if u have an idea for a subforum u can look into what properties can be set on a subforum
im actually gonna make an anonymous only forum too because thats something weve had access to but said why? lol

I also think this will be a better way to grow a bit. Making experimental forums and if they’re worth posting in/scrolling to the bottom for we can move them to general discussion or something along those lines? idk no way to know. People can also mute the category ahead of time that way so its not jarring to them (talking to you mangame)

A “subforum” within general or Games or something isn’t a subforum. Nobody uses the tagging system and it just makes it so everything is cluttered together there
I dont want my artifact threads moved I want them in general so I can get people to see them and sign
“gamers thread” is a general topic and that’s why I posted it in General
The current changes make it so general is just spam and boring stuff
It’s pretty funny how the best way to browse the forum is to avoid all of Epok’s changes (DarkOld theme, sort the main page by Latest only to not see categories at all) - he makes changes for the sake of it with no direction or goal.
I don’t want to harp on too much but at least take input from others before doing this.

He’s good at taking input but I do think a lot of changes are not thought out
here’s how I imagine the divide between what belongs in general vs other games:
If people are scrolling down/coming to the site specifically to find the thread, and if it is not a thread that will likely appeal to someone just wandering into it out of boredom, it belongs in other games.
Example: POE thread, CSGO thread, Card Games General, probably individual hero threads, probably Anime thread
If it’s either a) an open discussion thread with wider appeal or might be interesting to random people (eg. blog, Politics, whatever garbage thread ethan jones makes); b) a call to action or time sensitive thread (eg. Join Game Night!; Book Club/Film Club; probably Live Tournament Discussion) it belongs in General.
if people are visiting the site its because they heard about me in whispers and bedtime stories
