Well as a citizen of the United States I only feel the need to justify the actions of my own nation (lol), and there is no reason for us to give weapons to Ukraine on a humanitarian basis.
The best "result" for Ukraine if they win is what? A fake nation with missiles pointed at Moscow?
Saying Biden admin intends to draw out the war for their own geopolitical reasons (not out of interest for the people of Ukraine) is not really controversial, they are pretty open about that
If Ukraine wins, what does it become? It's just going to become a big missile silo with permanent troops and a fake government paid for by the Americans.

but yes individual stories nowadays are not the status quo. russia still has plenty of capacity to wage war (they have more shells than they could possibly fire in a year) but their problem is orchestrating getting it to the front to be used by willing and determined fighters
