the tl;dr is that i was gonna play with them in new expansion but i had a bunch of IRL shit so i quit playing wow and so they got mad i didn't carry them.

have 2 huge monitors and free subscriptions so might as well.

Reliability and robustness. Better connectivity for everyone, simpler, less bandwidth usage, the list goes on but it's just like preferring to use vim over a 100gb IDE.
