Just engaged a level 8 Young Forest Bear in combat as a level 6 mage. Almost lost.
let me know how you do, I think the fastest i hit 20 as a human mage was 8 hours 30 minutes
the levels before you get rank 3 frostbolt (14? i think) are super annoying but after that it’s smooth sailing to 20 at which point it’s smooth sailing to 60
