like yeah it sounds easy and fun (play videogame all day!!!) but really I’d imagine this is a pretty depressing lifestyle

you’re sitting in front of a computer all day, stuck in a pattern of fake, unfulfilling social interaction, and building a skillset and resume that will ultimately leave you in the dirt a few years down the line unless you somehow manage to twist it into one of those “Digital Marketing” jobs (not a real job - being a streamer for years doesn’t give you business savvy, don’t fall for the bullcrap)

a lot of these people really seem to get progressively crazier and more marginalized over time. extreme dyed hair; nerdy, atypical appearance; social skills, muscles, actual skills atrophied; unable to interact with real human beings in a meaningful way due to years of weird “streamer” interaction

The only reason these girls (most, not all) were getting anything out of streaming was they were young and attractive, which incidentally is their best asset to get out of it (as a young attractive girl you can go apply for shit and still have good chances of just having it handed to you; same, probably, for guys, but less extreme). Unfortunately you’re only young and attractive for so long and if you stick with streaming until it’s not lucrative any more you’ll miss the bus on the other opportunities your youth might have afforded

Ultimately what i’m saying is you think it’s the easy and good path to sit in front of a computer like this and get people giving u thousands of dollars but really the easy and good path is just doing a normal job for years, learning to be good at it, getting paid for it, being appreciated by your peers and respecting yourself more for it. That’s the golden path and often when people veer off of it they find themselves horribly unhappy and cant figure out why.

It’s not misogyny to say a woman manipulated a man

Women can be said to have done something wrong and be held accountable for it without it being misogynistic

Nyte and ewiz are victim-blaming because it fits their own narrative and they want to believe the woman just turns the stream on and a bunch of lonely dudes just show up and start showering her with comments and donations unsolicited. That’s not how it works.

Every single one of those guys has been groomed. She finds vulnerable young men, convinces them she thinks they’re special and they have a special relationship with her, then plays on their desire for positive attention from a woman to milk them for money & favors.

This all happens off-stream and it’s deliberate. It’s not a meeting of 2 equal individuals offering services to each other. It’s not dudes randomly showing up in a stream and giving a girl money because she’s hot. The girls go out of their way to find people who are basically emotionally retarded and take advantage of those people to convince them they have something special and need to send her money. And it’s not misogynistic to say that if it’s what’s actually happening (which it is). The truth can never be misogynistic, racist, watever other libtard codeword you want to throw out there for “I want to feel better than someone without genuinely engaging because I’m less informed but unable to allow myself to be wrong!”
