I read the blog and comments. Like all people who develop some expertise in a narrow target area and then decide to opine more generally on several broader areas, Locklin does a good job of sounding right and being rude/cynical (read: trying to convince others how smart he is) while still getting as many things wrong as he gets right. In short: Some interesting points and also some that are completely wrong while both are stated with extreme confidence and the same cynical affect that you see in every Jones post.

Nah he was in like a foxhole or maybe the entrance of a trench system looked like he was trying to shoot at the drone when it just slammed into him, they recorded it off another drone so it wasn’t like the POV of the drone that hit him

basic cammie nets can help a lot against grenades but idk how much good it would do against drones. you're probably only seeing the shitty fighting positions the ukrainians take fairly easily and make propaganda videos out of anyway. if there's one thing the russian army is still decent at it's sapping and entrenching so there are probably strong positions you just don't see them because they don't get taken, instead you see the chumps who get left out in the breeze
a lot of these videos show entire forests just blasted to sticks so hiding is almost impossible anyway. you just dig a deep enough trench and pray the drone doesn't pick you
