Odds of Ukraine taking Kursk??
pretty sure its just asymmetrical warfare
Yeah. Push here to make Russia pull troops from there.
Gay
The US doesn't allow long range strikes into Russia; if the Ukrainians operate and control portions of Russian territory it's harder for the US to say "no you can't use our weapons to attack within Russia" and maintain legitimacy. The best hope for them is for loosening that US doctrine.
That's the best I could come up with, the war is turbo lost. They probably just hate Russians and want to revenge kill civilians with US weapons.
ah yeah that's a good angle actually
that's probably true
disagree with the final part though, war is not "mega lost"
it will take Russia, at their current pace of gains, another 6,000 years to conquer all of Ukraine. not sure they have the men for that tbh, big as they are and all
did you see any new tech that can deter ICBMs from North Korea/Russia?
gotta assume the US already has their own version of David's Sling
So is it a guildgate or not?
well there's very little tech there -- it's more extremely attractive women and alcohol shmoozing with DoD employees. Around the end of the day the bottles come out.
Anduril had a really sleek booth with a UAV and I saw a SHORAD.
ICBM stuff is too expensive and the US is already spending inordinate amounts of money on NG's SENTINEL. Like half the people are hawking products to do paperwork engineering with DOORS/Cameo or whatever the fuck (my eyes glaze over). Good amount of UAV stuff.

I don’t think you can apply the same rate of territory capture throughout the entirety of Ukraine though, like there’s a ton of defenses built up in eastern Ukraine which is causing it to be a war of attrition but if Ukraine is just ground down or a breakthrough in the lines occurs I would assume there would be some rapid advancement through the rest of the country where there’s not heavily defended trenches everywhere
Ten thousand years.
A ten thousand year war would be pretty cool

The findings could upend relations between Kyiv and Berlin, which has provided much of the financing and military equipment to Ukraine, second only to the U.S. Some German political leaders may have been willing to overlook evidence pointing to Ukraine for fear of undermining domestic support for the war effort. But German police are politically independent and their investigation took on a life of its own as they pursued one lead after another.
“An attack of this scale is a sufficient reason to trigger the collective defense clause of NATO, but our critical infrastructure was blown up by a country that we support with massive weapons shipments and billions in cash,” said a senior German official familiar with the probe.
The CIA warned Zelensky’s office to stop the operation, U.S. officials said. The Ukrainian president then ordered Zalyzhniy to halt it, according to Ukrainian officers and officials familiar with the conversation as well as Western intelligence officials. But the general ignored the order, and his team modified the original plan, these people said.
US/German relations being rehabilitated by throwing Ukraine under the bus.
