Yeah that's understandable given that there isn't like guide posts to the days
no one can remove me liking you
it is a shame hosts can't farm dopamine likes but it's good for the game
the issue with liking is meta reads.
ppl rereading threads, or catching up can like someones post which notifies them and the person who gets notified gets a metaread
good example is kkat coming back to like my thread then not posting for an hour until i called him out for liking it an hr ago

yea i assumed as much but doesnt change that i knew and others didn't
barring the good vibes it also removes clutters of posts such as "i agree with this" "this" "good post" etc

i don't really think it removes the need of "i agree with this" or "+1" or anything else because for example kkat coming back after 350 posts was liking past posts. the only people who know kkat agrees with certain posts is the person who posted it
also this website has a crap way of showing who liked a post
