I don’t wanna say it but less people = less demand for housing = cheaper prices
After world war 2 we "punished" the japanese with real estate laws that ultimately made housing extremely cheap there lol
yeah because the way Canada is structured, the Federal govt. has very limited power. We're more like a true Republic than the US in that sense, the Provinces have all the power. The BC Liberals were the ones in charge of BC for years and they have nothing to do with Trudeau's liberals, theyre a totally seperate party. It's actually bullshit they get to use the same name. They were right wing and took deals and payouts from the Chinese for years and years (and got caught doing so). It wasn't the NDP doing that. And then you have Ontario who I believe had a conservative premier for years, so yeah idk how housing prices is "the lefts" fault when "the left" has just about zero power in canada except for if they get elected provincially (our current premier is NDP)
our country is run by neo-liberals, not leftists
But honestly, saying it's "run" by anyone is a stretch. It's just each provice doing whatever the fuck it wants.
Canada was lost when the truckers failed to overthrow the Cuban Canadian dictator Trudeaus regime
i've seen some people in my town with special bumper stickers in the shape of a truck that say Freedom Convoy 2022
in like the colours of a Canadian flag, lmao
so if we need to have a revolution there's some boys in my town that would thrown down no hesitation
it's actually a lot more right wing here than where I grew up, it's interesting. you meet difft. people
If I was prime minister of Canada, I would deport plasma to a quail farm in eastern europe as part of a policy to free up some housing.
All of America's liberal shit hole cities like what
China owns Canada.
London UK
All of France
Sweden
Basically the entire western part of Europe that got invaded by migrants
Oh yaw cultural enrichment liberalism
Migrants should be able to invest in your housing economy.
Should the government let housing development companies cater to just wealthy foreign investment that drives up value and leaves vacant homes? Nope. Gunna need big G to come in and put a stop to that, chief.
US Federal government is very weak btw. We are very similar. Whenever a president tries to do something, random court in any state just says "nope." It's a constant of American politics.
who will win 2024 electoins
Who did you vote for?
