Those scanner things don’t work 99% of the time. There has to be a little slip in the book for them to go off. Always just thumb through and pick them out (they’re usually not there, I only had to do that for all my college textbooks)

Hmm guilty pleasures: I tend to enjoy fantasy crap with monsters and magic. Good world building.
I like scifi and “thrillers” or mystery books I suppose. I like history based fiction books, too.
I’m willing to try most things tbh but I’ll balk at Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts (though I will admit to having enjoyed some of their books in the past)
