I put in $35 dollars in to the Steam Gambling Machine on the assumption this is about the lowest these things are going to go
Of course the game could just completely die but the chance valve abandons it and doesn’t make increasingly more drastic changes to bait people in is pretty low
Let me put it this way: Valve is invested a lot more than 35 dollars here and I trust whatever they do will be pretty good for people who bought in already
That’s not to say I’m actually going to play the game (it sucks)
I was just thinking I can probably sell this later and buy myself a nice 60 dollar game for christmas
i dunno i think the best argument ive read so far is valve should buy back all the hero cards and have it so players dont need to own them so they can balance them without having to worry about the relative costs
im not sure how to not break draft with that idea but it sounds better than not balancing at all
of course i have no idea how many hero purchase/sell interactions go down on the steam market on a day to day basis or if thats like big revenue for them but they should probably prioritize making the game good
My prediction for the end of the month is avg players down to 5k

figure out artifact sucks within 4 to 5 games
it takes the rest of the forum the open beta period, multiple weeks and hundreds of hours with numerous namafia tournaments to come to the same conclusion
