Card Games General

So I'm playing wild on EU; torch freeze mage.

I queue into this warlock who ends up playing lorewalker cho on two, which I then ping, then end up playing doomsayer the next turn on 3 because what the fuck am I going to do with lorewalker cho on the board.

He plays zola on lorewalker cho and doomsayer goes off. I play ice block and pass, lorewalker cho is played again.

At some point he plays plot twist and I get a copy of it from cho; I now have 10 cards and on my next draw burn thaurissan.

I enter some situation where I have like a 3 mana torch, 4 mana fireball. and a 2 mana frostbolt, and I'm dependent on drawing either a 3 mana fireball or a 1 mana ice lance to gather lethal. I pitch the 3 mana torch at his face; I have like 3/6 odds or something to draw either lance/torch.

He alex's himself back to 15, I then draw some garbage. I plot twist and draw bolt, lance, intellect. I intellect into evolved kobold, frost nova. I frost nova, leaving me at 1 with no secrets.

this guy has a 3 mana fireball in his deck, but doesn't tap??? for it (or anything else he plays, torch had to be a 1/8 or so) and can't end up popping me at 1 and my next draw is 3 mana fireball for 5 + 6 + 8.

I lost to a guy playing runic eggs in warlock because he double PO'd a nerubian hit my face then ratcatcher'd my doomsayer with it.

runic eggs. I remember cold blooding those in rogue.

it's the summer of 2019 and people are also still playing jade druid

I've been playing more and more prismata as the days develop - the game is still in early access.

in your case im sure its more the days degenerating

regressing is probably a more effective word

i dont normally play card games, but i have gotten pretty good at legends of runeterra and really enjoy it.
