In fact, I think I am going to go and leave a bad review on this game. Fuck U Valve!
I was sarcastic, but point taken
You know itās coming out in November?
yeha but im not allowed to nut this month
I think beta owners get to play next week
yo NMA buy me artifact
Iām not sure if Iām buying it myself. Iām only buying if what reddit is saying about āPhantom Draftā being free is true.
Valveās recent faq saying stuff like how youāre going to have to pay to play āeventsā after buying the game and the cards is just really stupid.
I think its smart.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

I like what they're doing with some of this stuff. Very clean
However my big concern with artifact is that it's just too boring. Nobody gives a fuck about your Axe, with Blademail. Compare that to dropping a sick Vilgefortz and he's got the animated image of him burning some dude's face off and it's hard to imagine how Artifact can compete.
My problem is everything Iāve seen about the game says draft is a 3x better game mode and I donāt really want to pay 20 dollars a week to pay the superior game mode after paying 20 dollars for 2 shit decks and 10 packs
I just wanna play draft IDC if I get rewards but I want to play the game at itās best
No one gives a fuck about the flavor if the gameplay is good
I think theyāve done some good thinking and good work towards figuring out what a great card game looks like (sometimes in direct opposition to the current standards set by existing games)
Especially fond of the idea of not building the most competitive mode around a constructed matchmaking ladder - which does kill games and Iām glad theyāve noticed that
I agree with people criticizing the pricing structure but I think itās deliberate (they want to construct a game like magic where cards have value and can be exchanged and traded on a marketplace - could be huge as long as they can keep fees low)
I think I am just withholding judgment on that until we see it in action and get a sense for how predatory it really is
Incorrect
See: that anime card game that nobody played
Of course it's deliberate - that's what people are criticizing.
Deliberate in the sense that they have some thinking behind it for the structure of their game - beyond just milking everybody for money
Because it was made by some no name company with minimal marketing.
Yes, again, that is what people are criticizing. Theyāre criticizing their thinking and the structure of their game
