i think theres a very decent chance this is 3x town. if it isn't, theres no way SCSF explicitly puts himself in the pool except to leverage the wifom play, which would implicate sdad+scsf team. but i dont think that is the case.
thus supposing we were lynching for mafia i would just naively pick osiris because i think magicmagininja is considerably townier. but that actually makes it scary and implies we should lynch magicmagininja for being too towny since i dont remember anyone fosing him yesterday.
i think its contrived and this is 3x town and they try to mislynch me tomorrow as a continuation. in light of that i propose lynching magicmagininja to be "safe".
btw the bot messed up yesterday and i rly did think i was getting lynched. u can read me as playing it up at the end but imma just say if i thought i was about to flip mafia i wouldnt be forcing interactions / giving reads on anyone at the last minute.
are you trying to analyze me as TMIing ian? i can re-explain what i thought at the time if you want
its actually kind of troublesome if people waste too much time trying to dig for interactions with the assumption i was making TMI plays. suppose im scum and wolfy/ian are town. then i would have been fine with either and wouldnt have said anything controversial, especially when ian->wolfy double mislynch is on menu. suppose im scum and exactly wolfy is scum, then i dont think i would be fighting against the town to bus my partner.
voting willy nilly is dangerous. yesterday people threw votes on random people and it ended up dicerolling. i think it would have been more optimal to switch votes and lynch myself and avoid this mess.
i wanted to lynch wolfy/SuPA, but nobody was voting wolfy/SuPA. me putting a random inconsequential vote is throwing it away just for the principle of the matter.
from my understanding ewiz initially thought wolfy was scummy then set sights on ian thinking ian was TMIing him. im fairly certain he said something to the effect of "well i thought that wolfy is mafia but now that im scumreading ian maybe not."
What is dsngerous about putting a vote on someone? How do you ever start a train without the first vote coming down? I mean do we all have to agree now is the time to go and then just hammer.
You vetted ian all day until him and ewiz were on you then you 180'd onto ian. Fine if you're town better to lynch even a townlean than yourself but christ man you played so soft it was hard to tell if you wanted a lynch in any direction or were just waiting for someone to say something you could follow up after. You only actually acted once you were on the block
i would draw a distinction between not voting uncomfortably and playing soft.
yes basically what i saw is the only people available for lynching are ian and epok. i explicitly townread ian but randomly mislynching epok on the outside can end up even worse when everyone is scumreading ian. so i dont really have any good plays to make.
i mean i guess a counterexample is that ewiz voted me and easily started a wagon but but iaafr and scsf had indicated suspicion of me so its not like there wasnt any precedent. i was still surprised people are so eager to flip. but im not about the whole "HELLO GUYS I AM STRONGMAN ABANDON YOUR CURRENT SCUMREAD AND LYNCH SuPA". that just seems disingenuous to me if i think its not gonna happen.
will address other stuff later, but why is this an issue? you yourself think 3x town is likely, given that, isnt it a good use of time for osiris to analyze outside of the pool today?
full disclosure ive gotten some cold feet on hbotz being scum because he has a sense of gamestate management (not wanting to allow runaway wagons on less spotlighted players and trying to avoid frivolous mislynches) that he showed during d1 too (talking about how ian flipping town would be bad if ewiz town)
but ultimately i dont want to come to a conclusion yet and think he could still easily be scum; don't know his scum range, etc
withholding other thoughts until osiris answers my question and other people check in
ye but its not even interactive its just a push on me. there are also other people pushing on me. but we have to choose a lynch for today and he hasnt derived any opinions regarding that e.g. by reading my interactions.
so i want to ask @Osiris what exactly he is thinking working so hard to quote stuff when there is a pressing matter here.
I wanted to see when/what made you end up voting ian. If it was just self preservation or if there was something that made you change your mind or not.
I guess I don't understand why you're hesitant to put your vote on someone earlier in the day with only 3 scum, makes it look really sideliney in my view personally. From my view if you had started with stronger convictions or acted before you were a target it comes off as more genuine or at least you attempted to steer discussion instead of just accepting lynching a town read
