Not really, no. In kindergarten, school, university the christian kids always stayed together. Neighborhoods or buildings are usually either coptic or muslim.
If by “celebrating christmas and ramadan together” means “University classes and exams keep going even on christmas and easter days even if half the class (sometimes much more) isn’t going.” then sure.
In reality it means formally and robotically wishing each other “happy holidays” at work or school when you Barely talk at all for the rest of the year.
A good community is important. Being a part of something greater than yourself, and empathy for those around you activates hormetic pathways in the brain that lead to a sense of belonging, motivation to provide for others, and ultimately to happiness.
