Considering dropping out to be a python programmer

I think you probably border on the small minority of work where it actually matters

yeah rofl

I’m still making fun of ewiz for saying it’s absolutely required to know linear algebra to write code

games and graphics use it a lot idk if other programming does

yeah i mean thats blatently not true

also i use it but fuck visual studio i think ima switch to something more light weight probably vs code

im like super dependent on my macros but visual studio is like inexcusably slow sometimes

The only requirement to be a programmer is to write code

And even that is barely required for some people

How much of your day would you say you spend writing code

0%

i spend absolutely zero percent

Maybe like 2-3 hours minimum. Some days it’s closer to 12-16, but I’d say I average around 4

if ur not making shit as fast as possible to get it in before a deadline and not caring if its stable or fast do you even work as a programmer

maybe im jaded rofl

Well, considering we’re focusing on performance computing for big data, we have metrics for run-time
