Considering dropping out to be a python programmer

Ewiz does like sales

He goes to meetings and says “yes, we can do that” and then comes on here and spews cool software developer factoids

Nope :)

yeah it def matters there

considering we’re focusing on performance computing for big data, we have metrics for run-time.

u right about that

Right now I’m doing multi-GPU graph analtyics on graphs bigger than 10TB

my friend who works at open ai is just like ‘idk we just do shit and if its slow we get better hardware’ more or less rofl

honestly he’d probably take offense to that im sure they optimize to some extent

Really cool factoids dude keep em comin

he was probably like 80% joking but i wouldn’t be surprised

Yeah, I guess since they’re all cloud shit, they can just farm it out to more VMs. But being able to parallelize like that requires use of linear algebra.

A lot of our stuff is performance computing on embedded devices, so it’s about making everything more efficient while decreasing computational power

In cloud computing scaling up hardware is easier and cheaper than writing more efficient code

This is just the way of the future

LOL

Literally a meeting-sitter right here

Not in DDIL environments

You literally posted the exact same shit right after me, idiot

Exactly what I was thinking

Mine was a joke

Alightsoul is clearly a shit programmer and taking out his resentment about that on me for being more intelligent
