Oh so pork butadon dish. So just a bit of back story. Trying to recreate a dish someone else ate, while they were in Japan. This other person has no clue how to communicate with other people, let alone describe food.
I think the pork turned out pretty well, surprisingly it wasn't exactly like the dish this kid had 7000 miles away in another country.
Sauce was a good mix between honey, soy sauce, and the sake/mirin.
Gonna try another version of the sauce and a different cooking method tomorrow for lunch, just experimenting for myself at this point.

Oh and Whole Foods still blows chunks.

When I was bumming in a friend dorm room, he sliced spam, dipped it in egg, and fried it. We had that with seaweed and rice. Haven't found another acceptable way to eat spam since.

I measured 12 oz with my measuring cup and dumped it in the old ass ninja blender I was using. Still not feeling it.
After I pooped the slight warmth I had went away, so I'm assuming it was from my body telling me to poop.

Maybe I shouldn't have eaten. I can always get drunk if I don't eat.

Tried a different recipe tonight, but this is what I'm gonna do tomorrow for lunch with the rice I have left in the rice cooker. Definitely looks more legit and "Japanese"-y from my vast knowledge of Japanese cooking I've gained watching multiple travel shows.
