i have the ribs with it i bought a hwole ass chicken

i was considering just roasting the whole chicken and then deboning and using bones for stock.

but i also kinda wanted to use the thighs for karaage

You could fry it. Brine -> buttermilk -> coat -> fry. You could make chicken tenders?
Like chicken breast blows, so you gotta add fat and other flavors to it.
Honestly I just make chicken salad with that garbage meat. Home made mayo, some crunchy veggie, pickles, and stuff.

It is totally your opinion or whatever, but raisins and apples in a chicken salad? That's some 1940's microwave cooking kinda shit. Ketchup, vanilla custard, and pineapple for dessert everyone!

i use dried cranberries over raisens tho and celery

The classic mayo, celery, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and if you're feeling it green onion cuz regular raw onion hits too hard.
O o o, you can add pickles too if you're feeling it. Like really thinly chopped.

I mean it works for some people just not me. I tried making a chicken salad with curry powder in it. Didn't turn out good. Even tried it in a restaurant, still not for me.
I'm a basic chicken salad bitch.

i hope the home made chicken stock is a game changer. my friends who cook more def hyped it up idk if it'll live up to the hype compared to store bought.

It's definitely better, plus you can freeze it and just be a crazy person.

Attempted to use gas grill for cooking cuz no charcoal, thought it might be different this time. Nope yet again let down.

ive never really had a gas grill but i imagine itd be more a burgers thing than a steak thing

No clue. It's my second favorite knife I use though. "Fuck it, I need a knife" knife.

Even burgers are better on charcoal. Fuck gas.
