you can either accumulate points to reach the next level, or swap your own character to a designated endpoint, IDK.
I don't actually think it's compelling enough to be an actual game.

i think the most compelling games (to most people) are what you're getting at here
better bejeweled doesnt seem like a bad sell. if it plays well (and maybe has some crap narrative elements) it would be really popular
