Sigmund the Dreaded is an Elite enemy.
I won the encounter. I think Sigmund should give a special item if you defeat him - as it stands he just sapped my health and left me in an unfortunate situation.
Bug Report: On several occasions, I am not actually next to an enemy but still get pulled into an encounter.
On the most recent, I actually defeated that enemy (not next to me), then back on the game board he actually was still alive, now him and his friend (the snake) are fighting me at the same time. Very frustrating bug
I have defeated Sigmund the Dreaded in internal playtesting so it is theoretically possible.

I cannot reproduce this. The 5 tiles need to be matched in the same batch, all connected.
That's probably why. It's not cumulative. Little bit confusing mechanic

I need to hire a UX designer for tooltips
I'm noticing all combat is calculated with each "break"
I think it should instead be: Break all gems, then calculate combat effects
Otherwise it is kind of hard to follow.

Sigmund used to do significantly lower damage in earlier test builds.
