I think you had to move bottom left here to create what Ninthsettler calls a "kill hole" (single file diagonal, blocks LOS for casters).
I forgot that those mobs even had spells.

im playing trunk so swords are buffed with dexterity scaling and ninthsettler_rtm told me to do caster sword merfolk

Reddit for this game is recently up in arms about how the "game is too long"
There's been suggestions of removing floors from branches, and get this : Only one of Hell or Pand spawning each run.
Just goes to show nmagane always has the most reddit opinions and ideas without even knowing.
Respecting the player's time is a "reddit opinion", you're right. DCSS should also make you sit in queue for 20 minutes before each run like Dota.
You don't think that crafting an item in Rust should take 60 seconds? What are you? A Redditor?
