I have a good idea for a setup but there's some kinks to iron out so I may not be able to start it for a few days anyways.

@big_ass I still like your setup that had a person giving out 1-shot guns and a person giving out 1-shot bullet-proofs. The thing I liked was that it gave a lot of powers to town but it also made claims really bad.
Yeah I ran that one in the days when we had a lot of questionable plays/players and I wanted to strongly incentivize acting towny in order to have higher game impact/get powered up
Seems more in the vein of traditional mafia for both scum and town to want to be towny - in this case because it will get them a gun or vest
I liked it because more power roles means more fun and more player impact. But more power roles usually devolves into mass claims. Your setup made claiming bad, so it balanced it out.
Currently I'm thinking it should be a whodunnit style logical deduction game where the SKs are randomed into town roles. The SKs can only kill one person a night and it reveals the killer's kink. Then you have a bunch of town roles like profiler (kinkcop), detective (tracker), reporter (verifier), coroner (deadkinkcop), nurse, co-ed (vt), family man(vt) and you have to figure out who the SKs are from their information, but some of it might be wrong.
Everyone has a fetish, and it's divided evenly among all players 3 or 4 ways. And then some players are closeted and don't know until they are profiled.
glad I didn't host this one. people can't read anything beyond a cop and a doctor role on this website
