lore is like, you know, genre classics, but also stuff recorded in actual history, whether it’s conspiracy theory, misinterpreted history, or kind of verging on the emergent scale of history, like we have or are building towards something through our (collective, kind of) consciousness. egregores and so on (this obviously touches on genre classics and where they may come from or what they may be inspired by, in some more literal sense)
so, for example, “roswell” is lore. ancient aliens/ancient astronauts is lore. the triple gill prime event is lore. varghinia, ariel, rendelsham, and so on. i say sci fi but (the) phenomena or phenomenon is better used to describe these supernatural or paranormal events and stories. the ways that they are fascinating geo politically depends on how you approach or which lens you try to view the phenomena with. all of human history, or like more modern events, for example. ww2 is unquestionably the biggest source of anomalies because it has so much recorded, and it was a worldwide event that leaves a lot of questions unanswered in this regard, via technological advancements, media, and large scale events that were witnessed with little public conclusion or resolution, as well as the deeper lore and the talk of occult beliefs with events that plot parallel to many of these claims. or for slightly more isolated ones, aliester crowley, scientology, it’s endless, really. but as we become more scientifically advanced, we can review things that have happened in the past with more insights. this in turn may inform us further about our reality.

I actually didnt enjoy paprika as much as I thought I would but one thing I will say is that the soundtrack was fucking fantastic and so was the animation
