You're getting hung up on the wording from a guy who has trouble expressing himself in a more palatable format (and even though it doesn't look like it this isn't even bad, do you remember how much he used to just ad hominem and try to make people feel shitty?)
You can argue the same here but what I see is that one guy gave advice I would disagree with and another guy made a correction to it that I agree with. If there's anything that presents a legitimate risk to users it's probably bad financial advice before terse language. It's good that it didn't go unchecked to me.
