The majority of the supply is already mined. Most of what's sustaining the price is buyer interest, not the supply rate so prices falling signals a drop in buyers no longer believing in bitcoin. It's a dark time for crypto. You can argue it's the best time to buy due to this, but this downturn can easily go for 1-2+ years of a slow bleeding out.
